I did a run where I set my max to 15 via TweakMB. Or maybe I used 14?Either way it had pretty reasonable results IIRC.
I hit harder with more power strike, I had more health with ironflesh. I didn't do much analysis on the others but I remember them seeming to work. The only one that was a bit surprising was First Aid.
The base rate of first aid is 10%. Each point adds 5% of healing post battle.
You also get the bonus that CaptainZaco had so you effective rate is 15 + (15-2)/2 or 21 or something. This means you get 10% + 5.21 or some 115% healing post battle. What does this mean? It means that you characters actually HEAL the more damaged they get in a battle. If you go from 50 health to 30 health in a battle, you'll get 23 health points back and go into the next battle with 53 health!! This doesn't increase your max and there's a check somewhere so you don't keep rolling health to infinite, but it basically makes you and your players invulnerable over a campaign since you can just keep getting wiped in the same fight.I ended up never raising the skill again not just because it's 100% cheating, but also because a skill cap of 10 ensures you can hit the skill cap on your combat-based companions on several trees more easily and creates a more even gaming experience.
